Another terrific idea is to always keep an eye out for special offers. Some chains will offer new items at a discounted price to make them popular, but once they are popular they will jack up the price. If you see a terrific deal make the most of it, I remember when McDonalds had two dollar big macs! This was a terrific deal (although not the healthiest one) and when you choose this deal and a water you can easily eat as much for two dollars that would usually cost you at least $7. If you are with a friend or partner and you are thirsty and want to get something to quench your thirst, or perhaps you need a little caffeine I have a terrific idea for you. Instead of buying two small drinks or two mediums you can save money by buying a large and sharing it. Normally a large is only about a few pennies more, but getting two drinks will cost you quite a bit more money. I use this trick on a regular basis, a few dollars does not seem like much but the savings really add up over the months.
