Height Increase Scams - Magenetism? Hypnotism? Reflexology? Really?
When looking for a remedy to help you sort out a health issue or any other kind of issue for that matter, you need to be careful not to fall prey to the dishonest cons crawling out of the woodwork posing as legitimate experts. Scams are one of the oldest professions in the world and con artists over the ages have continued to adapt with the passing of time, constantly reinventing their scams in order to remain relevant in modern times. Grow taller scams are no different and there are many different ones out there capitalizing on your insecurity.

Do some research!

It is very important to do some thorough research first before committing to anything someone is selling because you could end up spending precious money on rubbish. Financial losses aside, you may end up hurting yourself employing these fake remedies resulting in irreparable physical damage.

When it comes to grow taller scams, con artists have become quite creative, coming up with simple to complex techniques that appear quite logical scientifically but in truth are nothing more than just pure fantasy. Below are some of the most creative ones that many have fallen prey to.

Hypnotism

Hypnotism is where you allow someone to bring your mind to an unique kind of relaxed state. While in this state you will be susceptible to what they say. This one is a classic Scam. Scam artists have sold the illusion to many, many people that they can use hypnotism to convince the mind that you are truly taller. And consequently your mind will bring about the necessary changes to make you taller.

Hypnotism is aimed at the subconscious state of mind which is responsible for controlling your thoughts thereby influencing your perspective on life. The sad truth is though, your mind with just its thoughts alone can not influence growth as this is a physiological process, not a psychological one! Hypnotism is better suited to overcome habitual problems like addiction and other psychological problems.

Magnetic Shoe Inserts

There are some cons that say that magnetic inserts can stimulate height growth. The theory is that these magnetic inserts stimulate certain nerves and organs in your body needed for optimum height growth. They claim to also increase the total body energy through increased blood circulation making you taller magnetically.

However, as of today, there is no proof that they do result in an increase in height. So far science has only proven that specific kinds of magnetic therapy can only offer limited pain relief.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a technique performed by a specialist which involves focusing on individual pressure points found on the feet and hands with the aim of treating certain symptoms. The process begins with the specialist applying pressure to the identified spots on the patient's hands or feet. After a while specific changes will become evident to the specialist. They then will continue to focus on these changes until after a period of time you will be able to sense some improvement. Sessions normally last for about an hour and depending on your exact needs, you may require more sessions to achieve the desired results.

The technique appears harmless enough, as the worst case scenario is a relaxing foot massage. Still it's wise counsel to validate that the specialist is certified by the Association of Reflexology. Just remember that there is literally no medical proof that this kind of treatment will have any effect towards increasing your height.

There are reflexology inserts available that claim to have the same effect as that induced by a reflexology specialist. However, claims that these will activate hormones to stimulate height growth are at best doubtful, and at worst, a scummy grow taller scam.

Herbal Supplements

Taking herbal supplements to get taller is a lot more believable than the others, as it affects the body from within at the cellular level. Herbal supplements are available in the market that are geared towards height growth claiming that they help stimulate the pituitary gland and thus create the right physiological conditions needed to stimulate height growth.

The truth though is that these herbal supplements does not target height growth as they are made out to be. Rather, they target the overall health and immune system. This will eventually help the body perform optimally, including those functions involving height growth. That is if you are still young enough to be growing and your growth plates have not yet closed for ever.

As much as we as short individuals would like to find a miracle height increase remedy, it is very important to stay grounded and not allow yourselves to be driven by your emotions. Proper research and a bit of understanding about how the human body works could be the difference between avoiding some internet grow taller scam artist taking you for a ride or that elusive 2" in extra height.
